I'm Joel Cessna, Founder and Principal of Cessna Sales Solutions.
My journey in sales wasn't a straight line, and that's precisely why I understand the nuances of the field.
Starting in customer service taught me the value of listening, while my early sales roles ignited a passion for problem-solving and impact. I thrived in building relationships, especially in outside sales, where I learned to deeply understand customer pain points.

But it was my experience as the first sales hire at a software startup that truly shaped my approach. Building a sales process from the ground up, fostering industry relationships, and driving early growth solidified my belief in strategic, sustainable sales strategies. As I scaled the team, I discovered my true calling: coaching.

My coaching philosophy is rooted in authenticity and value. I believe in empowering sales professionals to build genuine relationships and deliver real results. You won’t find me pushing outdated, high-pressure tactics. Instead, I emphasize a consultative, trust-based approach that prioritizes your reputation and long-term success.

Outside of work, I'm a proud Minnesotan, enjoying time with my family, cheering on local sports, and embracing the lake life.
